Research assistant (up to EG 13 TV-H) - in the Department of Mathematics Education, specializing in elementary school

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 30.09.2021 as part of the sub-project P43 "Networking of scientific, didactic and practical teaching knowledge in the field of mathematics - ffu2" of the project "Professionalization through networking - PRONET²" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned sub-project of the aforementioned project
• Teaching services in the field of didactics of mathematics (including seminars related to the above-mentioned sub-project)
• Participation in organizational tasks
• Participation in scientific conferences

Prerequisites:

• Teacher training degree with very good to good results in the subjects of mathematics for grammar schools, secondary schools or elementary school or with very good to good results in a scientific university degree in an educational science course with a connection to mathematics

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge of research methods, interest in higher education didactic issues
• Thorough and independent working methods
• a high degree of organizational skills
• Experience in university teaching
• experience in using software to analyze qualitative and quantitative data
