Research assistant (up to EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of didactics of biology

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 30.09.2021 within the framework of the sub-project P30 "Life Science Laboratories - Networked Learning in Biology" of the project "Professionalization through Networking - PRONET²" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility to do a PhD is given and desired.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned subproject of the above-mentioned project (incl. participation in courses)
• Development of learning environments in the field of teacher training for research-based learning with digital media
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning environments
• Content-related and organizational participation in the profile expansion for the listed teaching-learning laboratories in the field of natural sciences
• Project organization in the context of events on the teaching-learning labs.

Requirements:

• a university degree with at least good grades, preferably a teaching degree in biology.

teacher training in biology

• practical school experience in supervising and instructing classes as well as in project-related communication with actors of the 2nd and 3rd phase of teacher education.

Advantageous are:

• Previous experience in videography (didactic use and technique).
• Experience using common research software (e.g., SPSS, Mplus, R) and a strong willingness to learn how to apply complex statistical procedures.
• Experience in empirical educational research.
• An independent, responsible approach to work and a high degree of organizational skills as well as teamwork and communication skills.
