Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of civil law, corporate law and information law

with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.12.2020 as part of the project "DLT Basic Research" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The preparation of a dissertation is part of the project work.

Your tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in two sub-projects as part of the above-mentioned project:
  1. Crypto-Assets - blockchain-based assignment of rights to persons (about two thirds)
  2. Changes in market structures and processes through the use of blockchains / smart contracts - C2B instead of B2C
     (about one third)

Your requirements:

• Academic university degree in law or business law with at least good results, with good additional knowledge in the field of information sciences.

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge in the field of distributed ledger technology
• Prior knowledge in one of the areas of economic analysis of law, competition law or intellectual property law
• Strong scientific interest
• good knowledge of English as a scientific language
• a thorough and independent way of working
• a high degree of organizational skills
• programming experience
