Teacher for special tasks (EG 13 TV-H) - in the subject areas of Early Modern History and Modern and Contemporary History

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is limited until 28.02.2021 (§ 14 Abs. 2 TzbfG).

Tasks:

• The post holder is expected to provide academic services in the field of teaching in the two epochs of early modern and modern/most recent history to the extent of 7 semester hours per week. He/she should also participate in research tasks in the field of history and take on other tasks in the administration and organization of the department

• the tasks relate to the implementation and supervision of courses in the History degree programs as well as student advising and study organization in the field of History
• The opportunity for further academic qualification is given

Requirements

• Completed academic university degree in history; teaching experience and research focus in early modern and modern/recent history are expected. An above-average doctorate in early modern or modern/recent history is desirable

The person to be recruited must never have been employed by the employer "Land Hessen"; this does not apply to a vocational training relationship.
