Managing Director (EG 12 TV-H) - In the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

The employment is for the training and replacement of an employee during maternity leave and is initially limited until 31.03.2019 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave is sought.

Tasks:

The scope of duties includes the independent performance of testing, measuring and monitoring tasks on building materials, components and structures, external monitoring of concrete of monitoring classes 2 and 3 on construction sites and in plants; structural damage investigations on structures, monitoring of structural repairs, suitability and quality tests on mineral building materials and components; Maintenance of accreditation of the quality management system of the testing laboratory; Supervision of experimental research work; Preparation, supervision and oversight of practical courses, experimental project work and final theses; Conducting courses on building materials testing; Organization of laboratory operations.

Prerequisites:

Completed university studies in the field of civil engineering (Bachelor, Diploma I); demonstrable in-depth knowledge of the technology and application of building materials as well as modern testing and measuring technology, experience in construction operations and construction management; advanced concrete technology knowledge (E-certificate); desirable suitability as a trainer for building materials testers; experience in the quality management system. Experience in building material and component testing for mineral building materials combined with in-house and external monitoring is a prerequisite.
