Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - Department of Political System of the FRG

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

We are looking for a social scientist with a focus on political science and a particular interest in one of the following research areas: Statehood in Transition, Social/Welfare Statehood, Political Parties, Associations, Industrial Relations or Digitalization of Politics, Economy and Society.

Tasks:

• Services for internal and external activities of the department, research and teaching
• In particular, support for activities in the research focus areas of the department
• Collaboration in the development and application of third-party funded projects
• Independent work on a doctoral project in the thematic focus of the advertised position

Requirements:

• Excellent academic degree (Diplom, Magister, Master's degree, state examination) in political science or

exams) in political science or social sciences with a focus on political science

• Experience in academic project work and teaching is an advantage
• Doctoral project in the focus area of statehood, welfare state, political parties, associations, labor relations or

digitalization.
