Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of animal nutrition and animal health

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years as part of the project "Animal welfare in cattle fattening" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project:

The focus of the sub-project is the assessment of animal welfare performance with the aim of investigating the possibilities and limits of a concept for the production of premium qualities in the beef sector in cooperation with a trading company.

Prerequisites:

• University degree in veterinary medicine with good to very good grades
• There is the possibility of further training as an FTA for animal hygiene
• Good IT and English skills as well as a driver's license (car) are required for the position
• Furthermore, the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation, high commitment and interest in a systemic research approach are required
