Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of landscaping, landscape management and vegetation development

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is limited for 10 months (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of habilitation is given.

Tasks:

• Services in research and teaching in the area of the department; main tasks in the context of teaching are the preparation and support of courses.
• Preparation of own habilitation project in the context of an application preparation for a research network at the German Research Foundation (DFG) on methodology in open space and urban planning.

Requirements:

• Completed scientific university studies (Univ. Dipl. or M. Sc.)
• Doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in the field of landscape planning/architecture
• Good knowledge of the theory and methodology of landscape planning, especially open space planning at the interface to urban planning
• Indicative experience in vegetation science for open space planning analysis
• English language skills
• Knowledge of PC / text, data and image processing, system administration as well as internet and multimedia presentation
