The scientific field of activity includes the aspects of conception, development, commissioning and scientific use of a biaxial testing machine. In particular, the materials developed in TETHOK are to be investigated, characterized and the material parameters identified. Furthermore, experimental structural mechanical investigations of selected material-typical components of the TETHOK research program are to be carried out. Numerical methods of mechanics and algorithms of mathematical optimization are used for computer-aided parameter identification of the new materials.
