W 2 - Professorship for Didactics of German Language and Literature/ Focus on Elementary School (m/f/d)

The position holder represents the field of primary didactics of German language and literature in research and teaching in its entire breadth. The focus is on written language acquisition and the didactics of writing, e.g., in the context of multilingualism and multilingualism.

Accordingly, applicants should have particular expertise in the areas of written language acquisition and writing didactics and be present in the relevant research discourse.

Duties:

In addition to teaching (currently 8 SWS) and research, the duties of the position include participation in the area of university-wide empirical classroom research, including in the Center for Teacher Education (ZLB) and, if applicable, in the department's Elementary School Workshop and Integrated Study Workshop (ISW-Languages), supervision of student teachers in school internships or in the internship semester, solicitation of external funding, participation in university committees and in academic self-governance.

Requirements:

In addition to a doctorate and university teaching experience, the requirements for employment are a relevant habilitation or habilitation-equivalent achievements. In addition, the provisions of § 62 of the Hessian Higher Education Act apply, according to which at least three years of teaching experience must be proven.

Experience in the acquisition of third-party funds is also desirable.

The hiring requirements and performance requirements according to §§ 61, 62 of the Hessian Higher Education Act apply. The position is available for an unlimited period.
