Research Associate (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of Computational Mathematics

Part-time with half of the regular weekly working hours. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility for habilitation is given.

Tasks:

Services in research and teaching in the field of mathematics; research in the field of differential equations especially differential algebra and geometric singularities; supervision of mathematical courses for mathematicians as well as for computer scientists and electrical engineers.

Prerequisites:

Completed scientific university studies and doctorate in the field of mathematics. Very good knowledge in the field of differential algebra, especially differential Galois theory and differential ideal theory. Willingness to do a habilitation.
