Part-time with 75% of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for one year within the framework of the pilot project "Practical Semester" as part of a secondment/partial secondment (option to extend subject to funding).

Job Profile:

The scope of duties includes the co-organization and implementation of the internship semester as well as the implementation of mathematics didactic courses for elementary school (teaching profession L1 according to the current examination regulations of 2015).

Requirements profile:

Prerequisites are a study for the teaching profession at elementary schools, the second state examination and at least three years of school practice after the second state examination. An interest in scientific research in the field of didactics of mathematics for elementary schools is desirable.

The secondment/partial secondment as a pedagogical staff member from the school service takes place outside of the vacancy contingents managed in the business area of the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, initially for a probationary year and can be extended for at least another year subject to further funding commitment by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art. According to the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations for Academic and Artistic Personnel at the Universities of the State of Hesse (Teaching Obligations Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 9 teaching hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 7 teaching hours for predominant teaching activities.
