Legal Counsel (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Legal and Contractual Matters of Third-Party Research, there: Legal Office

Part-time with 50.00 percent of the regular working time of a full-time employee (currently 20.00 hours/week).

Employment is initially limited until 12/31/2019 in accordance with Section 14 (1) Sentence 2 No. 3 of the Part-Time and Limited-Term Employment Act for the purpose of substituting for employees during their reductions in working hours.

In the context of ongoing organizational development, a later extension of the contract term (or also a later de-termination of the position) is not excluded.

Task Profile:

The job profile includes handling basically all legal matters - including litigation - of the university administration.

Professional Requirements Profile:

• Qualification for the office of judge
• sound, above-average knowledge of the law, which is also reflected in the grades of the state examination (at least one state examination with the grade "satisfactory")
• command of the English language, both written and spoken
• good computer skills in MS-Office applications

Professional experience in the following areas is an advantage:

• Professional experience in higher education or science
• Work experience in the public sector
• Professional experience in the legal profession

• good comprehension, commitment, ability to cooperate and work in a team
• Problem-solving skills as well as independent, careful and fast working style

Familiarization with the team of fully qualified lawyers (m/f/d) in the department is guaranteed. The position is therefore also suitable for newcomers to the profession (m/f/d).
