2 Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H, temporary, part-time (currently 20 hours per week)

Depending on the applicant situation, the position will be filled either as a postdoc, Research Associate (EG 13 TV-H), fixed-term, full-time or part-time (currently 40 or 20 hours per week) or as two part-time positions for Research Associates (EG 13 TV-H), part-time (20 hours) as a doctoral position. The employment is to replace an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until 20.12.2019 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought. The opportunity for further academic qualification is given.

Tasks:

The core task is to collaborate in research and teaching in the field of Romance Linguistics / Hispanic Studies and French Romance Studies. Teaching activities include corresponding examination activities. In addition, the candidate will be expected to assist in the supervision and advising of students and to participate in university committees. In the academic profile, a research topic in the field of Spanish linguistics (preferably with a focus on Latin America) is expected.

Requirements:

• Above-average academic degree in Romance studies
• very good final thesis in the field of linguistics
• Teaching experience as a tutor is desirable

Requirements for the postdoctoral position:

• Above-average academic degree in Romance studies
• a doctorate in Romance linguistics graded at least magna cum laude cum laude
• extensive teaching experience
