Romanesque Quartet: Dominique Manotti - Kesseltreiben

Dominique Manotti is one of the best-known and most talked-about French crime writers. Trained as an economic historian, she brings all the knowledge to draw attention to the abuses in the upper echelons of the social elites.Her latest novel, Kesseltreiben (Racket 2018), is about the complex maneuverings and intrigues in the context of the takeover of a French  group by an American company. "Free, very free" (Manotti) inspired by the 2013-2015 takeover of the French energy company Alstrom, it is an engaging commentary on the current political situation in the country.
