Tasks:

  • Support of the scientific staff in the processing of publicly funded projects as well as industrial projects
  • Carrying out destructive tests, supervision of test rigs and plant technology in the field of welding technology (primarily friction stir welding)
  • Carrying out feasibility studies (welding work)

 

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training as a materials tester, industrial mechanic or similar training or further training as a technician
  • Careful, independent and team-oriented way of working
  • Ability to think logically
  • Good handling of MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of German

 

An advantage:

  • Knowledge in the field of destructive testing technology (e.g. tensile testing, metallography)
  • Knowledge of CAD (e.g. ProE, SolidWorks)
