Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of organic plant breeding

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is limited for 24 months (§ 14 Abs. 2 TzBfG).

Tasks:

• Expansion and coordination of the organic plant breeding group.
• Taking over administrative tasks within the management group of the department.
• Coordination of the field trials of the department.
• Assumption of tasks within the teaching load of the department for "Ecological Plant Breeding" in German and English language.
• Independent application of research projects in the field of organic plant breeding.

Requirements:

• Scientific university studies in the field of biology or agricultural sciences completed with at least good results.
• Doctorate in the field of plant breeding
• Proof of experience in leading a research group
• Evidence of successful project acquisition and experience in the administration of project proposals.
• Evidence of experience with planning and conducting field trials.
• Evidence of experience in university teaching
• Very good knowledge of the German and English language
