Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Experimental Design and Construction

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 30.09.2021 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). An increase to full-time from 01.04.2020 is sought. The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of experimental design and construction
• Independent processing of a research sub-area "Design Trough Making"
• Participation in the preparation and implementation of courses of the FG Experimental Design and Construction
• High level of motivation and initiative in teaching and research in the field of 3-dimensional digital design and construction of sophisticated structures as well as teaching good knowledge of common 3-D and CNC modeling programs
• Organization of special events and excursions
• Implementation and supervision of exercises and seminars

Prerequisites:

• University degree in architecture completed with very good to good results

Advantageous are:

• Very good design/artistic qualities and a good graphic eye with several years of professional experience as an architect

• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high level of organizational skills
• Self-determined research in the field of experimental architecture
