Research Associate (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Experimental Design and Construction

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 30.09.2021 (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). An increase to full-time as of 01.04.2020 is intended. The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of experimental design and construction.
• Independent processing of a research subfield "Design Trough Making".
• Participation in the preparation and implementation of courses of the FG Experimental Design and Construction
• High motivation and initiative in teaching and research in the field of 3-dimensional digital design and construction of sophisticated structures as well as the transfer of good knowledge in the current 3-D and CNC modeling programs
• Organization of special events and excursions
• Conducting and supervising exercises and seminars

Prerequisites:

• With very good to good success completed scientific university studies in architecture.

Advantageous are:

• Very good design/artistic qualities and a good graphic eye with several years of professional experience as an architect

• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Self-directed research in the field of experimental architecture
