Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - at the Institute of Social Work

Part-time with two thirds of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for three years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Independent research (doctorate)
• Teaching at the Institute of Social Work
• Research support and third-party funding acquisition of a post-doc with the research topic "Disability and Assistance Dogs" (Dr. Birkan Tas).

Requirements:

• Academic university degree (Master or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g. sociology, social sciences, social work, social anthropology, cultural studies) completed with very good or good results.
• Ability to work in a team and to conduct independent research under supervision
• Very good English skills in Word and written
• Experience in interdisciplinary research
   

Advantageous are:

• Theoretical knowledge in the field of critical animal studies and disability studies.
• Experience in the application of qualitative social science research methods
• Academic experience abroad
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Good knowledge of German
