Research assistant (m/f/d/), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Construction Materials and Construction Chemistry

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee, initially limited until 31.10.2021 in accordance with § 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG to work on the project: "Development of chemically expanded graded foamed concrete systems".  An increase in working hours is sought.

Tasks:

Independent scientific research activities at the Department of Construction Materials in the above-mentioned project in the field of concrete technology with a focus on the development and application of foamed concretes. Carrying out independent experimental investigations in the field of concrete technology using modern measuring methods in the laboratory, on a pilot plant scale and in practice. Independent evaluation and interpretation of results. Presenting new knowledge and the results of research work in internationally recognized journals and at national and, where appropriate, international conferences. Collaboration in the preparation of research reports and applications. 

Requirements:

Good to very good scientific university degree (M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.) in the field of civil engineering. In-depth knowledge of modern measurement technology, inorganic binders, concrete technology and construction management is required. Several years of professional experience outside the university environment is desirable. IT experience and a high level of interdisciplinary cooperation and communication skills are required; in-depth knowledge of the English language is necessary.

A doctorate is an advantage:
