Welcome to Kassel... a city that is more than 1100 years old. But how much of this history do we know? Do you want to find out how Kassel was created and how it grew? Which important figures in history spent their time in Kassel? What makes Kassel so important for German and perhaps also for European history? We will find all these answers in the Stadtmuseum Kassel during a guided tour by our tutors! Then we will dive into the history of the creation of our universe in Kassel's new planetarium, located in the Orangerie in the beautiful Karlsaue Park.

Registration:

• Each excursion requires either a participation fee or a deposit, which must be paid in cash at registration.
• Deposits will only be refunded to those who attend the field trip!
• You can register for field trips on Mondays from 1 to 3 p.m. at the International Office WelcomeCenter (Campus Center in room 2128.a).

We will find all these answers in the City Museum with a nice guided tour by our tutors! Afterwards, we will dive into the history and creation of our universe in Kassel's new planetarium which is located in the Orangerie castle in the beautiful park Karlsaue.
