Witzenhausen conference: "Climate.change.agriculture. - Cool solutions in hot times"

The Witzenhausen Conference, organized by students, will take place for the 27th time from 3 to 7 December.
This year's theme is "Climate.change.agriculture. -Cool solutions in hot times"

As a contributor to emissions, agriculture is a key factor in the extent of future global warming. At the same time, it is highly susceptible to climate change, which is now also reflected in drought and extreme weather events in our latitudes.

In lectures and workshops, we will discuss the following questions, among others: How can agriculture adapt to changing climate conditions? What contribution can organic farming make? Are technical reforms enough or do we need completely new concepts in crop cultivation and animal husbandry? What role must politics and society play? What can I do specifically as a farmer?
