Scientific employee (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - Department of Experimental Physics III

Part time, temporary employment initially for the period of 36 months (possible prolongation of 24 months) within the scientific framework of "Extreme light for sensing and driving molecular chirality" (Qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility to obtain a doctorate is given.

Your responsibilities:

• Scientific cooperation in the above mentioned project
• Working independently on the applications of femtosecond white-light laser pulses to the photoionization of chiral molecules with the help of angular-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy

Your necessary profile:

• M. Sc. in physics. The required degree must be obtained by the date of recruitment at the latest.
• Experience in femtosecond white-light-generation, femtosecond-pulse-characterization and velocity map imaging techniques.

Additional skills:

• knowledge in scientific publication and presentation on international conferences
• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of organizational ability and working in a team

• Experience in dealing with data analysis and lab automization software
