The possibility for habilitation is given.

Tasks:

• Services in research and teaching at the department ASL
• Scientific management of the planning information system (cf. www. isp.uni-kassel.de)
• Guidance and supervision of scientific and student employees
• Support of students and employees in the field of media relations
• Cooperation in the publication system of the department
• Conceptual development and participation in the reorientation of the institution.
• Scientific management and further development of the writing workshop at the department; organization and implementation of workshops and seminars and establishment of tutorials in this area
• Independent research in the field of planning sciences
• Participation in academic self-governance

Requirements:

• Academic university degree with good to excellent grades in urban and regional planning, landscape planning, or architecture. The required degree must be received by the hiring date at the latest.
• In the case of employment for habilitation: Additionally completed doctorate in one of the above-mentioned disciplines
• Willingness and aptitude for independent scientific qualification in the form of a doctorate or postdoctoral qualification in the field of planning sciences.

Advantageous are:

• Experience in questions of publishing, editorial supervision and design of publications and documentation of writings.
