Social human rights and Sustainable Development Goals
Event series "Social law and social policy in case law and science"
with Prof. Dr. Markus Krajewski (University of Nuremberg-Erlangen)
Unlike their predecessors, the Millennium Development Goals, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2016 focus more strongly on the importance of social human rights for sustainable development. But how strong are the mutual links between social human rights and the SDGs? What significance do the efforts of the United Nations with regard to the SDGs have for the safeguarding and protection of social human rights? These questions will be examined in particular with regard to the right to work, the right to health and the right to education.
The events will take place in cooperation with the Verein zur Förderung von Forschung und Wissenstransfer in Sozialrecht und Sozialpolitik e. V. (Association for the Promotion of Research and Knowledge Transfer in Social Law and Social Policy).
The event will take place online. You will receive the link after registration at nathalie.rothe[at]pg.hs-fulda[dot]de
