"One and double: literary collaborations" - Colloquium in honor of the 100th birthdays of Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner.

In 2021, Kassel celebrates the 100th birthday of the writer couple Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner. They not only supported each other in their own writing work through discussion, commentary and criticism, they also formed a literary tandem and wrote texts together. Eight lectures will shed light on such literary collaborations, on strategies and techniques, on their productive and limiting aspects - from the High Middle Ages to Classicism and Romanticism, Naturalism and postwar literature to the present day. The conference takes place within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the University of Kassel.
