Exhibition opening: "Women renew Havana".

The exhibition "Women Renewing Havana" with photographs by Christine Heidrich will be accompanied by guest lectures by Prof. Dr. Sylvia Claus (BTU Cottbus) and Prof. em. Dr. Mary Pepchinski (TU Dresden). The exhibition and the parallel website launch are organized by Prof. Vronskaya's Department of History and Theory of Architecture. The project website "Women Building Socialism"(www.womenbuildingsocialism.org) will go online on the same evening; it was created as part of the project "Second World, Second Sex".
