CLUBABEND - Mountain Park - February

Dear international guests of the university, dear members of the university,

Prof. Dr. em. Werner Varnhorn (Institute of Mathematics) invites us to a walk through the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe followed by a barbecue and mulled wine drinking in his garden in Harleshausen. He has always organized this tradition with students and international guests of his department before his retirement and would like to keep it up.

The walk will start on Feb. 16, 2023, at 2:45 p.m. (streetcar departure from Königsplatz 2:13 p.m.) at the terminal stop of TRAM Line 4 at Druseltal. After the approx. two-hour walk through the 560 hectares largest mountain park in Europe, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site,

along the Ash Bergsee, the Löwenburg, the Hercules to Harleshausen we invite you to a joint barbecue and mulled wine drinking (please specify below wishes - vegetarian or non-alcoholic). Towards evening we will take the bus (?) back to the city center.
