Lecture Series FUSION 2023/24: LESS:ON We demand sustainable teaching!

After two roundtable discussions hosted by LESS:ON, where we discussed alternative teaching formats, interdisciplinarity, the ASL semester schedule, student influence in teaching, and more, we cordially invite you to a third evening. Our fusion evening will be developed and designed together in our seminar. This time we will make concrete demands on teaching. We will present proposals for teaching, highlight the potential of the interdisciplinarity enabled at ASL, and discuss notions of sustainability.

LESS:ON is a student initiative that was founded in the summer of 2022 at the Department 06 of the University of Kassel. We deal with the big topic of sustainability in teaching. In our seminar we talk about the grievances in current teaching. We formulate demands that we have on teaching. With our activities and events we would like to strengthen the discourse and critical thinking about sustainable teaching in our department.

The lecture will take place in presence, will be recorded and will be available the next day as a video on Panopto  available the next day.
