We have put together an exciting program for you. Both on site and online, there will be an introduction to the department and insights into teaching and research by Prof. Dr. Ute Knierim, Head of the Department of Livestock Ethology and Animal Husbandry. The degree courses will then be presented separately for Bachelor's and Master's degrees and there will be an opportunity to talk to students. In Witzenhausen, we also offer a free guided tour of the tropical greenhouse, as well as a guided tour of the city and campus by students.

Program:

• (optional 8:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Bachelor lecture "Biology of farm animals", large auditorium, Nordbahnhofstraße 1A)
• 1:30 p.m. Welcome and introduction to the department, presentation of teaching and research by Prof. Dr. Ute Knierim
• 14:10 Presentation of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs
• 15:30 Guided tour of the tropical greenhouse
• 16:30 Small city and campus tour
• 17:00 Visit to the student presentations of the conversion groups (large auditorium)
• 18:30 End

Special feature on this date: Presentation of the conversion groups. As a Bachelor's project, students plan their conversion or optimization in cooperation with a practical company. The final presentations will take place on this day.
