This year's general meeting of the Competence Center for Gender Studies in Transformation will take place on 09.02.2026 from 14-16 o'clock in the Senate Hall of the University of Kassel. We will take a look back at the first year of the Competence Center and agree on further plans for this year. In addition to seeing everyone again, we also welcome the replacement for the coordination: Jacqueline Koshorst is now supporting us in the coordination - welcome to our group!
After the MV, the lab discussion "Hostility to Science - Democracy - Gender: Networked Action" will take place in the foyer of the Campus Center from 4-6 pm . Based on current analyses of hostility towards science, including gender studies, we will discuss strategies for action with Dr. Friz M. Trzeciak, board member of the Gender Studies Association, Dr. Johanna Leinius, Scientific Director of the Cornelia Goethe Center in Frankfurt and Dr. Dirk Schulz, spokesperson for the Conference of Institutions for Women's and Gender Studies in German-speaking Countries (KEG).
