Scholarships for Artistic Final Projects of the Otto Braun Fund

In 1989, the Otto Braun Fund was created to provide support for young academic and artists. Scholarships for artistic theses are awarded on the recommendation of professors at the University of Kassel.

Students of the University of Kassel, especially students of the Kassel School of Art and Design, are eligible to apply for an Otto Braun Fund scholarship for their artistic final projects.

The Scholarship for Artistic Final Projects amounts to 520 euros per month for a maximum of six months.

The possible earnings in addition to the scholarship through academic, artistic or specialised activities are limited to a maximum of 3,000 euros during the funding period of six months.

The awarding of Scholarships for Artistic Final Projects is generally for six months.

The Board of Trustees decides on the quality and prospects for success. The biographies of the applicants provide important information on the prospects of success. In addition, the explanation of how the project's content is relevant to B. Braun's topics can be assigned a further importance in the selection of the scholarships.
