Vietnamese delegation in Kassel

A delegation from Vietnamese science and politics, led by Vice Minister of Education Nguyen Van Phuc, visited the University of Kassel. The occasion was the meeting of the University Council of the Vietnamese-German University (VGU), which took place in Kassel this year.

After the University Council meeting, the Vietnamese participants learned about the University of Kassel and were given a tour of the campus by University President Prof. Dr. Ute Clement.

The VGU is a university project initiated by the Vietnamese government and the state of Hesse. In the academic year 2020/21, VGU has around 1,700 students and offers 14 Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The University of Kassel is a non-voting member of the VGU Board of Trustees and participates in the Master's program Computational Engineering through Flying Faculty, among other things.
