Roswitha Schwarz

• Conference management - support for staff from all faculties in the organisation and administration of reseach conventions and conferences
• Coordination of the research funding information service FIT
• Absence replacement in the University ethics committee office and in the coordination of research ethics

Roswitha Schwarz (B.A. Hons.) has been part of the Research Support team since September 2023. Since January 2025, her main task is scientific conference management. In this role, she supports the faculties in the administrative part of the organisation of scientific conferences at the University of Kassel. In addition, Roswitha is also part of the team that coordinates the FIT research funding information service and the FIT network. She is the absence replacement for Carolin Schwarz in the area of research ethics and in the office of the University ethics committee when Carolin is absent and supports the research funding team in various project tasks.

Roswitha is a qualified office communications clerk with licensed further training as a foreign language correspondent for English, Office Manager and Business Economist. She went on to study International Business Management at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours). Her career to date has taken her to various commercial organisations as a clerk and management assistant and later as a freelance translator and business consultant.
