UNIKIMS and uni-assist only require notarized documents. Please do not send original documents! It is not possible to return your documents.

Official certifications always require the original seal and the signature of the person issuing the document. The official seal can be round or oval and contain an emblem. Certifications with a stamp containing only words will not be accepted.

If the copy consists of several individual pages, it must be indicated that each page belongs to the same document. It is sufficient if only one page bears the original seal and the original signature, as long as all pages overlap and are stapled and certified in such a way that each page bears part of the original seal.

In the case of notarization (with string and seal mark), the original seal must only appear on one side of the copy.

The following institutions are authorized to notarize your documents:

• Schools or universities that issued your documents, as well as the responsible Ministry of Education in your home country
• the diplomatic representation in Germany
• the cultural department of the embassy of the country in which the certificate was issued
• the authorities and notaries who are authorized to officially certify in the respective country

In Germany, any public authority that bears an official seal can notarize.

These include municipal administrations, districts and other administrative authorities (e.g. local mayors or heads, city administrations, citizens' offices, town halls, district administrations). Courts and notaries are also included.

The tuition fees for the entire Master's program are € 14,000 (€ 2,000 per semester) plus a semester fee of approximately € 140 per semester studied.

The UNIKIMS Management School distributes <link>partial scholarships for new students who enrol for the Master's degree program "Wind Energy Systems" in the winter semester 2019/20.

No, you have the option of paying the fees in installments of €2,000 per semester.

Anyone who obtained a first degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent) at a university outside Germany and is neither enrolled at the University of Kassel nor at any other German university has to provide an application via uni-assist. From the 2019/20 winter semester, <link ab>partial scholarships of €4,000 will be awarded to suitable first-year students for the first time. There are no further scholarships, as this is a continuing education course.

UNIKIMS and uni-assist only accept authenticated copies of the original documents. Please do not submit original documents! It is not possible to send your documents back.

The standard period of study for the part-time Master's degree program Online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems is 7 semesters (3.5 years). However, you can plan your studies individually. Our Master's program is flexibly designed for students who wish to study alongside their career or family commitments.

Yes, the Online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems is designed as a fully online learning program: Courses are taught in English and online. The examinations also take place online.

As the topics of individual modules are interlinked, only certain modules, e.g. "Project Management", can be studied as individual modules.

The learning units are provided via the Moodle learning platform. Moodle is a learning management system that gives the lecturer the opportunity to design an individual learning structure. This can be used by students in their self-directed learning phase. All our teaching materials and learning activities are prepared in Moodle. Examples of teaching materials are Learning scripts, links, other files and videos. Forums, tests and homework are also offered. In the self-directed learning phase, lecturers and students communicate via the Moodle forum. Students can ask their lecturers questions via this forum. Questions about course content will be answered within 48 hours. On weekdays, organizational questions will be answered by the course management within 24 hours.

We teach all online modules using the web conferencing tool Adobe Connect. Virtual classrooms are provided there in which the lecturers hold their lectures. This process is very interactive and is similar to an on-campus seminar room. All students can communicate with their lecturers and fellow students via microphone and chat. All online sessions are recorded. This means that students can also watch the live online sessions later.

Participation in online sessions is possible from any computer with broadband Internet access. A Windows PC (min. Windows 2000) or Mac (min. OS X 10.3) with a sound card and a headset is required.

Since the topics of the modules offered in the Online M.Sc. Wind Energy systems arestrongly interdependent, not all of our modules can be chosen as a 'single module'. However, depending on your previously acquired competencies, we can offer more than the single modules.
