What made you decide to apply for Economic Behaviour and Governance at the University of Kassel?

I was browsing through many different curricula, which are offered in English in Germany and came across the EbGov programme. The name and tentative subjects caught my attention and interest, so I decided to give it a go. And I am glad I did.

What is the single most important thing you have learned during your Master in EBGo?
I learned about my own natural irrationalities and whether to resist or accept them. This comes in handy especially when I am about to make an impulse buy at the checkout counter.

How would you describe your time at University Kassel? / How would you describe your experience at University Kassel?
It was wonderful. I learned a lot, worked hard and grew so much as both a learner and a person.

Your favourite place in Kassel?
CityPoint. I am a city girl who loves the hustle and bustle of a busy commercial street.

How do you look back on your time at University of Kassel?
With absolute joy and nostalgia.

How did you experience studying for your Bachelor’s degree compared to studying at University of Kassel?
I definitely enjoyed the time I spent in Kassel much more than my time spent in undergrad school. Kassel is the perfect city to be for me - not too boring, not too crowded, the living expenses are very reasonable. The professors and fellow students are nice and helpful.

How has the programme changed you?
Aside from the obvious gain of knowledge, the program has helped me a lot with my confidence, manners and has given me a whole new perspective on people’s behaviour.

How has the Master EBGo provided you with the skills and knowledge required to do your current role?
Working in Customer Service requires a lot of respect and understanding of people’s economic behaviour, which the EBGo program definitely offers.

How would you like to stay connected to University of Kassel?
I have been a very enthusiastic promoter of the program to every perspective student that has asked me where to study abroad. I would love to be a part of the alumni program and do my small part in bringing awareness to the program, the discipline and Uni Kassel.
