Guidelines for Presentations

Posters

Please prepare a poster in Portrait A0 format (84cm wide x 120cm high). As usual, poster presenters should be prepared to walk the audience through their poster and to answer questions.

Local poster printing:

If you would like to have your poster printed locally and delivered to the conference venue for 13,-€, please book the local ‚poster printing’ service in ConfTool when you register for the conference.

Prepare a camera-ready version of your poster in PDF A0 format and send the PDF-file to poster-std2016@uni-kassel.de by July 10, 2016 at the latest. To make sure that fonts are depicted correctly, use embedded fonts only. If you convert your poster to PDF via the free PDF24 Creator (www.pdf24.org) colors should be depicted as intended.

Spoken presentations

Each speaker is given a total of 18min for their spoken presentation. Please prepare a 15min talk and save the remaining 3min for questions from the audience. Conference rooms will be equipped with Windows notebooks. Please save your presentation in PowerPoint format and bring it on a USB stick.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via std2016@uni-kassel.de.
