Components of the overall event

The lecture includes the following components:

• 14 lecture sessions (each Tuesday at 08:15)
• a paper version of the slides used
• bi-weekly exercises: for the exercises you have to register in HIS
• the soldering pool: the soldering pool takes place directly at the beginning of the semester and you have to register for a date on lists
• 4 wrap-ups: voluntary evening events (6-8 p.m.), in which contexts and practical references (concrete questions) are dealt with interactively
• Supplemental tutorial: a student tutorial where questions about the material and exercises can be asked
• weekly short assignments during a part of the lecture
• this website with subpages (see menu on the left)
• a Moodle course
• mock exams (in the grey room)

• the recommended literature: the lecture uses an English textbook

In the Moodle course you will find:

• the message and discussion forum
• working documents: exercise sheets and sample solutions for the group exercises and hints for exam preparation
• additional documents and hints on how to use them
• Links to useful software: a logic simulator (external link) and our CLB simulator
• Working hints for working with books and for following a lecture
