Application

Information on the Application and Review

The Ethics Committee has three regular appointments per semester, which are published before the beginning of the semester (see appointments). In addition, reviews (also during the semester break) are possible in urgent cases. Researchers are asked to follow the established deadlines as much as possible and to plan their applications accordingly. The preparation of applications can be time-consuming. Applications must be complete and emailed to the Ethics Chair no less than ten days prior to the committee meeting including all attachments in ONE document (ethikkommission.fb01[at]uni-kassel[dot]de). Applicants must also anticipate recommendations and/or conditions following a review, which may take additional time. Only after all concerns have been resolved will a determination of ethical clearance be issued.
