Annegret Reese-Schnitker (*1969 in Göttingen) studied Catholic theology (diploma) at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and elementary school teaching at the University of Cologne. In 2005 she received her doctorate in theology under Prof. Dr. Rudolf Englert. She completed the second state examination for elementary school teaching in Minden, worked for 10 years as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen and one year as a junior professor at the University of Osnabrück. On Nov. 1, 2011, she was appointed university professor at the University of Kassel. She is married, has a daughter and a son and lives in Vellmar.
