How to apply for an EMP certificate

  1. 1.Step 1

    Submit a transcript of records by e-mail in order to apply for the EMP programme.

  2. 2.Step 2

    Achieve 24 ECTS through eligible EMP courses at the University of Kassel. Students are required to acquire 6 ECTS in each of the four categories mentioned above.

    (For students of the University of Kassel only)

    erify a stay abroad for either studying (one semester) or an internship which is creditable for the economics bachelor’s practical module (720 hours, at least 4 months). Previous studies at non-German-speaking universities can be accepted, though the internship has to be completed in the course of study at Kassel University.

    Send an email to erasmus[at]wirtschaft.uni-kassel[dot]de for the issuance of the certificate after having fulfilled all requirements a) through c). Students of the University of Kassel need to include a transcript of records and a certified copy of a document that confirms their semester/internship abroad.

Who can acquire the certificate?

All students, including international exchange students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics and Management in Kassel, are qualified for participation. We expect participants to have successfully completed courses on fundamentals of economics and its methods (30 ECTS in total), with an average grade of 3.3 or better.
