Participants at the annual Digitalforum Nordhessen, an expert meeting of IT companies and IT application companies from the region, were once again able to exchange views on the latest ICT topics in the North Hesse region in exciting presentations and discussions. This year's presentations focused on the topic "NewWork. Collaboration. SmartRegion." The event organized by Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH in cooperation with IT-Netzwerk e.V. took place on the premises of IHK Kassel-Marburg in Kassel.

The "Round Table" exchange format between Digital Minister Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus and regional stakeholders such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chamber of Skilled Crafts, the VHU, the IT Network, Regionalmanagement Nordhessen and the AG der Wirtschaftsförderer with the participation of the District President had already taken place in advance. At the start of the digital forum, the results and fresh project ideas were presented, "which now need to be tackled with courage and unbureaucratic support from the state", as Kai Georg Bachmann, Managing Director of Regionalmanagement Nordhessen GmbH, emphasized. As an example, he mentioned the idea of a village community center 2.0, which is intended to create the basis for combining co-working and digital services with the established social structure and offer rural communities in particular the opportunity to take the next step towards greater attractiveness in rural areas.
