How to get there:

• By train:

  If you arrive by train to Kassel Wilhelmshöhe station, you can either use one of the cabs or the streetcar in front of the station for your onward journey. (You can reach the Kassel cab office by calling 0561/88111) You can take either streetcar line 1 (direction "Vellmar" or "Holländische Straße") or line 3 (direction "Ihringshäuser Straße"), which will take you to the destination stop "Murhardstraße/Universität" (fourth stop after "Bahnhof Wilhelmshöhe") in 7 minutes. From the stop, cross the pedestrian crossing and walk straight ahead towards entrance C. In the entrance area, keep to the right and take either the stairs or the elevator to the 2nd floor. Leave the stairwell on the 2nd floor and take the corridor to the right. After a bend to the right, you will find yourself in the ComTec corridor.

• By plane:

  There are train connections from Frankfurt, Hanover and Paderborn airports to Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe station, and a bus connection from Kassel-Calden airport.

• By car:

  • From Göttingen and Frankfurt am Main on the A7:
    At the "Kassel-Mitte" junction, turn onto the A49 towards Kassel/Marburg and leave the highway at exit 5 "Kassel-Auestadion". Follow the B3 to Auestadion and then continue on the L3421 "Ludwig-Mond-Straße", later "Schönfelder Straße". At the intersection with Wilhelmshöher Allee, turn right and after 160 meters you have reached the university site.
  • From Dortmund on the A44:
    At the "Kassel-West" junction, turn onto the A49 in the direction of "Kassel Zentrum" and leave the highway at exit 5 "Kassel-Auestadion". Follow the B3 to Auestadion and then continue on the L3421 "Ludwig-Mond-Straße", later "Schönfelder Straße". At the intersection with Wilhelmshöher Allee, turn right and after 160 meters you have reached the university site.
