The 22nd PerCom took place in Biarritz from March 11 to 15. ComTec was represented by Judith Heinisch, Lars Mathuseck and Klaus David.
At PerCom, many research topics of great interest to ComTec were discussed, such as: Use of microphones for activity recognition, results on traffic protection from Uni Twente (NL), or an excellent keynote from Prof. Paul Lukowicz on his research on HAR using low computational power devices.

Klaus David and Judith Heinisch, among others, organized and conducted the Emotion Aware Workshop, which was also very successful this time. Here, too, an excellent keynote speech was given by Prof. Kristof van Laerhoven on the topic of "Overcoming Affect Recognition's Curse of Normality in the Wild".

The organization of PerCom from Kassel was once again supported by Alexander Bolz as Finance and Registration Chair (since 2021).
