We congratulate Dennis Hübner on successfully completing his bachelor’s thesis titled “Mold Prevention and Push Notification Service for Smart Homes”! His advisors were Daniel Wilhelm and Christoph Anderson.

As part of his bachelor’s thesis, Dennis Hübner developed a push notification server for the smart home system of Städtische Werke AG. This allows smart home customers to receive updates on the status of their homes not only via email but also via push notifications sent directly to their Android or iOS devices.

In addition, he implemented a feature that reminds customers to properly ventilate their rooms, thereby preventing the growth of harmful mold.
