We congratulate Lars Mathuseck on the successful completion of his bachelor’s thesis titled “Smartphone-Based Learning of Individual Speed Profiles of Pedestrians in Road Traffic,” which he presented on November 27, 2018. In his thesis, Mr. Mathuseck examined various approaches to automated learning and prediction of individual pedestrian speed profiles using smartphones for cooperative accident prevention systems.
