The 22nd PerCom took place in Biarritz from March 11 to March 15. ComTec was represented by Judith Heinisch, Lars Mathuseck, and Klaus David.
At PerCom, many research topics of great interest to ComTec were discussed, such as: the use of microphones for activity recognition, findings on traffic safety from the University of Twente (NL), and an excellent keynote by Prof. Paul Lukowicz on his research into HAR using devices with low computing power.

Among others, Klaus David and Judith Heinisch organized and conducted the Emotion Aware Workshop, which was once again a great success. Here, too, an excellent keynote was delivered by Prof. Kristof van Laerhoven on the topic “Overcoming Affect Recognition’s Curse of Normality in the Wild.”

Once again, the organization of PerCom from Kassel was supported by Alexander Bolz as Finance and Registration Chair (since 2021).
