Projects and theses in collaboration with industrial companies and other organizations

We are happy to supervise project and thesis work in collaboration with industrial companies or other organizations.

When supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses, it is important to us that the work makes a recognizable scientific contribution. In particular, the following requirements should be met:

• There is a clearly formulated scientific research question that promises to yield relevant and, in principle, publishable findings.
• The thesis is embedded within a project or research framework previously agreed upon between the industry partner or organization and the Software Engineering department .
• There is a willingness to jointly publish the results of the thesis in an academic journal.

In this way, the results of the work can be utilized in the long term and incorporated into both practice and scientific research.

We therefore welcome contact from employees of companies or other organizations to define a project or research framework prior to the completion of theses.
