Students applying to the FUSE program must meet the following criteria:

• a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mathematics. The specialization of the degree must meet the requirements of the Functional Safety Engineering master’s program.
• A good command of English equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); no proof of English proficiency is required if the Bachelor’s degree was earned in an English-language program or if English is the applicant’s native language.
• There are no tuition fees except for the so-called semester fee of approximately 392 euros per term, which includes free use of public transportation and certain other services.

Before applying, make sure that you can cover the expenses of the FUSE study program.

• How to Cover Expenses

A. Apply via uni-assist, if you hold a Bachelor degree from a university outside Germany.

B. Apply via University of Kassel, if you hold German Bachelor degree or a double degree from a German university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule).
